ce soir, j'ai vu le television. it was about the honor killings in islam countries. how men would harm another human being (usually their wives) because allah allowed it (accdg to them its written in the quran). i was furious over my classmates ignorance when he told me once about islam being a religion of peace. how far is christianity from these practices with its tradition on limiting womens roles in society. there is hope as women are continuesly empowered and gradually become an educated demographic, just like what happened in christian countries a hundred years ago. things will change for the better. and with it the last vistages of superstition against women.
rewatched southpark (en anglais ce fois). it gets better everytime i see it. shut your fucking face uncle fucker .. i dont agree with carmen most of the time, but he gets me. the only time i will see bigotry in a humourous light.the kids awe over adults (and canadians) swearing and the conservatives blame canada for it. canada being closer (in culture) to europe than the puritan states.
