i frequent the jobsites out of habit. just in case ... there was one requirement on one of the posted jobs. it said "should not be over 30". another was "should be female". or even more bizarre, was a requirement to send a full body picture. NONE OF WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL TO A PROGRAMMER. i am aware of it existing for a long time, in other industries. i was under the impression that the IT industry knows better. that we are more progressive about these things. or maybe over the years, the IT top ranks have been, infiltrated by old school thinking. old school means people asking me to clean up my desk at work. when i like it scattered. it just looks messy. i know where to look if i needed something. old school is prohibiting chat/internet at work. or making targets of people my "age"? im turning 32 soon. i will be officially off the calendar.

we claim to respect elders and yet, the first thing we do is deprive them of being productive, deprive them any self fulfillment they could gain from it. ultimately destroying their spirits. we openly discriminate on age, sex, and appearance. we should put a stop to this. the state doesnt care because their already secure. there isnt any restriction in government as far as i know in terms of age, sex, and appearance. why is the private sector any different? we wonder why highly skilled people are leaving the country? settling abroad (US, UK, AU)? theres your answer. since there is not much i can do about this, except continue to attempt to immigrate, ill just have to be prepared for the worst.

je suis en train de lire le livre l'ordre du phénix. il est plus histoire amusant. professeur trelawny est ma plus favorie personnalité. un autre personnalité qui j'aime est neville longbottom. j'aime son confiance en soi qui est bas mais enfin neville réussit. je n'ai pas commencé l'autre livre, ni je l'ai acheté - le prince de sang mêlé (donc, ne dis pas moi OK??). je souhaite que madame rowling a attribué de plus mérites aux hufflepuffs. ils semblent plus fragile contre les autres maisons. entre le courage du maison griffindor, l'ambition du maison slytherin et l'intélligence pour du maison ravenloft. (ou peut-être c'est exactement pourquoi je les aime) hehehe parce que médiocrité je suis - le roi. votre patronus est le loup (wolf). le loup est un symbole de la sagesse, la loyauté, l'indépendance. vous êtes vénérée et les gens ont peur de vous. depuis votre patronus est un loup il dit que vous êtes un homme sage. vous aimez être fidèle a vos amis, même s'ils ne sont pas à toi, mais vous êtes indépendant aussi. trouver la balance est la clé; trouver il garantira que vous serez un sorcier merveilleux ..

j'ai aussi reçu un email aujourd'hui concernant quelqu'un d'école. il était duarte. c'est bizarre entendre qu'il est mort. je pensais à lui des semaines passées. la dernière fois que je l'ai vu, était en il y a cinq ans (2000). nous allions à la fête (EB) pour vampirs. la féminisme

in response to a review composed by fellow blogger R. i hear talk of women being the weaker sex. all the time. work. home. everywhere. bs that people have recited repeatedly until it becomes truth. not just in terms of physical strength but mentally as well. example. women cant play chess because women have inferior brains. despite the fact that there ARE women chess masters. they argue that these women are a fluke. an accident of nature. alternatively i offered a more plausible explanation. this phenomenon has nothing to do with DNA. it has everything to do with culture which discourages it. women can be just as good as men in anything. fact. they can drive. they can manage. they can be good leaders. they are our teachers. i know that the media continues to promote all these gender role BS. no i dont agree with women being the superior sex. thats just as worse as saying the opposite. feminism is about equality. neither superiority nor inferiority. but rather cooperation.

an imminent weakness to language learners is vocabulary. knowing what a verb or noun means. take a sentence. there is a formula to its construction and i am at a point where i can recognize some of them. im relying heavily on my knowledge of english which happens to have a lot in common with french (yey). that is probably the same reason why i didnt pick up japanese nor chinese. even though its the practical language to study in my situation. there is just no point of reference. no affinity. while with french. its close to spanish and english. both we have an affinity of some kind. mais il y a sans doute que je suis encore juste un debutant. one trick is, while reading an article. i normally write curious words down and review them, alongside a handy dictionary, repeatedly until the article makes sense. another trick, and this is while composing. i use google translate to verify and i keep my sentences uncomplicated.

cette une lettre pour une amie en allemagne: comment apprend-on une langue? il y a beaucoup opputunités. surtout maintenant. nous avons l'internet. c'est une très très grande bibliothèque. j'ai commencé avec un livre. il y a de nombreuse bibliothèques dans ta ville. j'en suis sûr. par exemple. vous habitez en allemagne. vous avez d'avantage particulier apprendre la langue allemand. en tous cas, mes cousins iront à bonn pour la world youth day. je ne peux pas aller parce que je n'ai pas de l'argent. mais quel bon savoir qu'il y a de beaucoup beaucoup philippins autour le monde. vive les philippines. paix et longue vie.
