manille: niveau 16

as i described earlier my general plans for the city of MANILLE.

i relocated the foreign embassies out of the inner wall as i wanted to prioritize the building of marvels in it. with the pyramids of egypt as the centerpiece surrounded by other wonders of the world.

i find that pine trees for example suited the job perfectly of accentuating each wonder (or marvel in COW terms). the temple of luxor to the west. the hanging gardens to the east. to the south is the great wall of china. and then nearby is the stonehenge. i am currently working on le grand phare (11 more to go. aide-moi guys!).

id like to setup a kind of caste system in the city. there will be the local merchants in the business district, the intellectuals in their colleges and universities (and later laboratories), and then of course the city administration. i relocated all military structures outside the inner walls signifying the supreme authority of civil society over them. then to keep things clean, i decided to lace the inner city with roman villas and no other.

religion will play very little role in the city. i must admit that i had need of it at earlier levels to stabilize the happiness level of the citizens. but i am gearing towards a more scientific approach to happiness.

in the future i would hope to start working on the outer wall and develop a stronger offense/defense as other city states are probably eyeing MANILLE as we speak, as their target for their military conquests ..

poufsouffle: la ville de merveille

cést une capture d'écran de ma ville qui sáppelle poufsouffle. comme civ, la ville de merveille (city of wonder) est un jeu où tu vas construire ton 'civilisation' mais dans ce cas ta propre ville. tu as trois conseillers et trois domaines que tu vas essayer d'ámeliorer - ta culture qui définit le bonheur de vos citoyens, ton commerce qui définit combien tu gagnes, et puis finalement, ton militaire qui définit ta puissance militaire contre des envahisseurs.

ma tortue

c'est pogs. ma tortue dans son seau d'eau avant on est parti pour subic. je lui ai donné quelque chose à manger et lui a dit au revoir.

il est une toture de floride (a red eared slider) et un cadeau qui vient de l'halflin et son copain en cela temps. mais maintenant qu'ils se sont quitté, pogs represente une fin de l'époque.

si tu remarques son expression, il est comme moi qui aime faire une grimace. lol. et comme lui, je vis une vie solitaire et il n'a pas des amis sauf peut-être moi. au moins, il ne va jamais découvert qu'íl n'était pas ínvité. et que son ami a en oublié.

j'ai besoin de lui fournir une place où il pourrait se dorer mais son seau est trop petit pour le moment. il ne mange pas beaucoup. et il mange la même chose que les poissons mangent.
