je viens de confirmer du site blizzard. ils ont annoncé qu'ils travaillent sur un nouveu jeu diable 3 .. ET LES CIEUX TREMBLERONT. je pourrais souvenir quand j'ai joué une sorcière dans l'ancien diable 1 et 2. j'attends starcraft 2 et maintenant diable 3 avec impatience. maintenant, il y a deux personnages dans la page de classes de personnages. le barbare et le sorcier-docteur. sweet.

bataille pour wesnoth

je suis sorti avec les gars de 24/7 le vendredi. ils me rappellent des gars de BSDG il y a dix ans. nous étions tous tellement jeune cela temps. soupire.

BATAILLE POUR WESNOTH. je deviens un fanatique de ce jeu. je pourrais même jouer en français. je pourrais aussi ajouter des extensions (add ins) au jeu qui m'interesse bien. il y a plusieurs campagnes. j'ai déja joué la campagne d'elfe. maintenant, je joue la campagne de nain contre les orcs qui j'ai trouvé être très difficile. et c'est tout gratuit!

the graphics and game play is like civilization 1 to 2 era. it is not exactly high tech but what it offers is something else. good campaign stories and nostalgia. it is a time machine to the 1990s when life and games seemed carefree.

cette photo est un elf capitaine d'un autre jeu aventure qui s'appelle battle for wesnoth. je viens de télécharger sur l'ordinateur aux chez mes parents ce jeu. je pensais que c'est peut-être un bon visage pour mon personnage guillaume? battle for wesnoth est un jeu gratuit et open source qui court sur windows ET linux.

une autre chose qui m'interesse, c'est que je viens de joindre cette communauté DND FR qui contient des discussions e-mail sur donjons et dragons ET bien sur, tous en français! maintenant, je peux m'amuser le jeu DND mais je peux aussi apprendre la langue française en même temps. c'est juste super n'est-ce pas? j'ai parcouru leur site et ils ont des photos où ils portent des déguisements, des livres en ligne mais je n'ai pas encore trouvé le 4ème édition en français, etc ..

it seems good as it illustrates (accurate or not) rudimentary ideas of the science of evolution. we all know how much we need that - the rational approach, especially at times like this when superstition and ignorance reigns supreme. despite the huge amounts of empirical evidence against it. science itself is threatened when bible schools take over america teaching their kids fairy tales. we need to teach children rational thinking. that nothing just magically exists. it takes time. it's a long process of mutation and natural selection.

i'm still not sure if i am going to get one for myself. i was never a fan of the sims except sim city. and i remember sim tower. the game seemingly became more bloated as with the operating system it ran on. it became too big and cumbersome to play. i hope its different for SPORES. the core idea of guiding evolution of your species is sound. and might even be fun!! judging from the few SCREEN SHOTS i have seen over the internet about this game however, i was not very impressed. i hope they compensate with quality music. mais qu'est-ce que t'en penses?

in the ancient times when people worshipped the weather and the heavens. people didn't have an accurate understanding of nature and this lead to incorrect decision making. anything they didnt understand. they attribute to something beyond nature. the supernatural. i am thinking. this still happens to this day. something nice happens and people immediately "thank god".

thru science we have a closer understanding of nature. we know that when it rains. this is due to precipitation in the clouds. not so much about an unseen being which wants to cause heavy traffic (when it rains), or cause floods as some sort of punishment.

this is a critical shift in the way we view and then solve the human condition. example - we are sick not because we are being punished. we are sick for all sorts of natural reasons. some of which we can fix. its wierd for me when people pray for health and still rely on science (for back up?). because it's fact that the science of medicine have discovered ways to cure and treat illnesses. it is not all for sure as our understanding of nature is still in progress. this is a distinction between praying for recovery because some god needs its retribution; and a systematic understanding of what is causing the illness and making appropriate action to fix it.

i remember seeing everyone laughing at something or someone. the story was about a certain (E) who i didnt want to be around with for reasons beyond the scope of this rant. they were telling me that i was going to have to deal with (E) anyway when i specifically expressed that i didnt want to. i was becoming agitated at the thought. but apparently noone was taking me seriously. everyone was laughing (at me). i exploded.

(K) approached me and told me everything. i felt even more stupid after. i was not ashamed for exploding. i thought i had every right to. i am sorry though for ruining (K)'s surprise and the whole plan for the night. i offered to just go through with it. but everything's ruined. im glad that i didnt say anything id regret.

(K) felt distant and occupied on the way home. nous avons pris un bus. this was it. j'arrive tôt vers 18h00 à SM Megamall. premiere, j'ai pris mon diner par moi-même au resto japonais et après, j'ai passé à Villeman (Cyberzone) avec kiks, vincent le frere de kiks, anggo, et lolo le copain de kiks. l'équipe au coeur pur. héhéhé. j'étais ZEUS, seigneur d'olympe. bien que nous avons perdu le jeu. c'était cool parce que je me suis rendu compte que j'ai peut-être trouvé de bon amis.

(noob, newb, newbie) refers to a neophyte. in DOTA speak, it is someone who is either is a beginner or someone whose game play is like one. normally when someone calls out noob, it is derogatory, an insult akin perhaps to the term "nigger" but is regarded as a term of brotherhood (highly unlikely though) when shared amongst friends. here are some DOTA tips for noobs by a noob (me).

1. DOTA has two teams. The Sentinelles (left bottom camp) and The scourge (right top camp).

2. There is only one way to end/win the game. For the sentinelles, they need to destroy the dark crystal located at the Scourge camp. For the scourge, they need to destroy the life tree located at the Sentinelle camp.

3. Each player chooses her héro. There are many héros to choose from. Normally, you can pick one from the stock of heros from both Sentinelle or Scourge camp. Once the héro is picked. It is exclusively yours for that game.

4. There 3 basic types of héros - Intelligence (sorciers), Agility (stealth, assassins), and Strength (guerriers)

5. Team play plays a large role in winning the battle, compensating each other's strengths and weaknesses.

aside from the basic types of characters based on their primary ability (Intelligence, Agility, Strength). héros can also be classified under the following types. in a team game, some theorize that a healthy mix of these types of heros make an unbeatable team. a good combination of heros is what makes or breaks the game.

1. pusher - means the héro has immense advantage in pushing a lane forward. (ezalor, broodmother)

2. nuker - means the héro is capable of dealing heavy damage to multiple targets in an area. (kristal maid, venomancer, lich king)

3. disabler - means the héro is able to arrest another heros capability to move, to cast spells, to attack .. etc .. (example: silencer, le roi nerubien)

4. tanker - means the héro is able to withstand huge amounts of damage without dying. (tiny, centaur warchief)

5. harasser - means the héro is able to make small successive attacks to an opponent without or little retaliation rendering it helpless. (dryad, dwarven sniper)

c'était un peu embarrassant. pendant diner hier soir, j'étais invité à diner par une femme d'un autre service parce qu'ils ont un visiteur de france. ils pensaient que je pouvais parler en français. j'étais le soi-disant (so-called) quelqu'un qui parle le français. ils ont tort. je l'étudie mais je n'ai jamais dis que je parle bien. it was a humbling experience. i am going to use it to fuel further my education in the language. sans doute, il y a beaucoup de travail à faire. comme quand j'ai rencontré ghis, c'était un peu difficile à comprendre son accent. peut-être c'est la même chose avec nous quand ils nous entendent. sais-tu ce que serait incroyable? quand un jour, quand je deviens meilleur, puis je parlerais comme on parle en anglais. je serais finalement fier de moi-meme ..

LA DEFENSE DES TOURS. je ne peux pas souvent dormir. parfois, je me reveille de bonne heure. puis, je m'occupe de jouer ce jeu qui s'appelle desktop tower defense. c'était developpé en flash pour que c'est simple mais il peut entrainer un dépendance. the trick is to create a labyrinth where the creatures can go around until they're killed. il y a toutes les sortes de créatures. normal, groupe, rapide, volant, sombre, immunis, spawn, les BOSS. a good set of towers placed strategically on your labyrinth will do the trick. so far, i have not been successful. im playing niveau moyen. over the years i have come to play with different sorts of players too. me. i try to enjoy the game. i am playing to have fun. others obsess about winning. others still, do not see anything wrong with cheating (my nephew and his cheat codes ^_^), and last maybe are the ones who are not so easy to spot, les sadomasochists. the latter i try to avoid.

je viens d'acheter command et conquer 3: les guerres du tiberium. il y a trois factions ... les GDIs (global defense initiative) qui me rememore des corporations militaire et le gouvernement, le pacte du NOD - les communistes, et le plus nouvelle faction, les envahisseurs extraterrestre qui se sont appelé les srins. les srins semblent d'être mon favoris. the world is plunged into chaos between these factions. im currently doing the campaigns.
